Brief overview

How does one apply to become a Stetson?

Interested applicants must complete an RCMP Volunteer Application Form (PDF, 1.48mb), and submit it to District 2 RCMP Oromocto.

J Division, District 2 RCMP Stetsons:

Since 1992 our Troop has been proudly serving our community with support, leadership, and young adult involvement.

The purpose of the District 2 RCMP Stetsons is:

Stetson Badge1. Offer young adults the opportunity to explore and gain experience in the various disciplines related to a career in law enforcement.

2. To provide a balanced approach related to this career encompassing services to the community and the RCMP.

3. Further develop friendships and awareness of self, through troop activities. 

The Troop consists of young adults aged 18-26, with a membership ranging from 15-25 members.
