The Pacific Region Training Centre provides various resources for the training of employees. These resources are made available through our Library and Multimedia Services.

PRT Library
Pacific Region Training Library serves the 5,000 Members plus 2,000 Civilian Members and Public Service employees in B.C. and the Yukon. The library's collection is comprised of books, journals, videos and CD-ROMs in the field of law enforcement. The library's services include Internet and database research as well as information retrieval in print and non-print format.

Multimedia Services
Pacific Region Training programs are increasingly delivered using instructional technologies in the classroom, compelling educational videos or leading edge approaches such as Webcasting. Technology and education come together through the skilled staff and state-of-the-art resources of PRTC Multimedia Services. Our professional Multimedia specialists provide an array of services including video production and editing, digital photography, graphic design, new media development and web design. This unit also sets up and operates multimedia presentation systems for large training sessions and maintains the state-of-the-art integrated classroom technology at the Pacific Region Training Centre.
