The RCMP awarded a contract to an independent consultant, iforensic of Forensic Science Services, to conduct a review of the effectiveness and efficiency of the operations of the Biology Services provided by the Forensic Science and Identification Services of the RCMP.

The RCMP has accepted the spirit and intent of the iforensic report recommendations. The report recommendations will constitute an integral part of the broader context of the FS&IS renewal strategy to improve client services.
