PEI RCMP arrest two individuals for Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking

April 16th, 2024, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island- PEI RCMP Provincial General Investigation Section executed a search warrant at a residence in West St. Peters in relation to a drug trafficking investigation.

On April 12th, 2024, PEI RCMP Provincial General Investigation Section with assistance from Kings District RCMP, Queens District RCMP, and PEI RCMP Police Dog Services arrested a 38-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man from West St. Peters following a targeted traffic stop. After the traffic stop, a search warrant was executed at a residence in West St. Peters. As a result of the investigation RCMP seized suspected cocaine, a prohibited taser device, Canadian currency, and contraband cigarettes. This investigation is ongoing.
