Update- Gimli RCMP search for missing male

Gerard Dubois was safely located. The RCMP thanks the public and the media for their assistance.


On April 4, 2024, Gimli RCMP received a report of a missing 63-year-old male from the RM of Gimli.

Gerard Dubois was last seen on April 4, 2024, at approximately 7:30 pm, at his residence on Hansson Avenue in the RM of Gimli. He left his residence in a red 2008 Ford Escape with Manitoba Licence plate HAJ 859.

Gerard is 5'11", 140 lbs with brown hair, brown eyes and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a red shirt, red pants and a green and black plaid jacket.

He may have been heading to the St.Vital area of Winnipeg or Ile des Chenes.

Gerard may be disoriented and police and family are concerned for his well-being.
