Assistant Commissioner Jennifer Ebert signs the declaration of the RCMP's renewed core values, which were developed after extensive consultation with employees, Indigenous Peoples and community stakeholders.
"I sign this declaration on behalf of all employees, signifying our continued commitment to ensuring these core values are the foundation of our work to protect and serve, so that in our conversations, interactions and daily service we take responsibility, show respect, serve with excellence, demonstrate compassion, and act with integrity."
The core values will be displayed in all RCMP buildings as a visible reminder of the RCMP's renewed commitment to protecting public safety and serving with excellence in communities throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
