On November 4, 2023, Iqaluit RCMP responded to a report of motor vehicle collision. Upon arrival, the police arrested Jack Anawak.
Anawak was charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Section 320.14(1)(a), operation while impaired; and
- Section 320.14(1)(b), operation with over 80 mgs of alcohol.
Anawak's court appearance is scheduled for January 25, 2024 in Iqaluit.
