Update: RCMP seeking public’s help following attempted armed robbery

Update: On November 25, 2022, the person of interest in this file was identified and subsequently arrested in connection with the investigation. He is scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on November 26. The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance.

The Codiac Regional RCMP is seeking the public's help to identify a person of interest following an attempted armed robbery at a business in Moncton, N.B.

On September 13, 2022, at approximately 4 a.m., an individual entered a business on Mountain Road, and demanded money while brandishing a knife. The individual fled the scene before police arrived. Nothing was taken during the incident, and no one was injured.

Anyone who has information that could help further the investigation, is asked to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400.
