The Doaktown RCMP is seeking the public's assistance to identify a person of interest following a break, enter and theft in McGivney, N.B.
The incident occurred on November 17, 2021, at a seasonal mini-home on Highway 8 between 2:35 and 3 a.m. The individual forcefully gained entry into the residence through a window and stole several items. The residence was unoccupied at the time.
Through the investigation, police obtained surveillance video photos of the individual involved and a vehicle of interest. The RCMP is now releasing these photos and hoping despite the quality of the images, information from the public may help identify the person or provide additional information to help the investigation.
The individual is described as a man between five feet seven inches (170 centimeters) and five feet nine inches (175 centimeters) tall, with a slender build. The vehicle of interest is described as a white four-door sedan.
Some of the items that were stolen from the home include:
- a 32-inch television
- an A12 MP3 trail camera
- Dunlop rubber boots, size 7
- a Panasonic 5-disc changer
