42-year-old man charged with first degree murder in connection with homicide

A 42-year-old man from Moncton, N.B. has been charged with first degree murder in connection with the homicide of a 24-year-old man from the community.

On November 17, 2022, a 24-year-old man was reported missing from Moncton. On November 22, police located a body in a wooded area off of Paris Boulevard in Irishtown, near Moncton. The body was later identified as 24-year-old Max Boudreau.

A 42-year-old man from the community was arrested in connection with the investigation.

On November 23, Justin Barrow appeared in Moncton Provincial Court and was charged with first degree murder. He was remanded into custody, and is scheduled to return to court on December 12 at 11 a.m.
