Two youths arrested for break and enter to a business

News release

On March 22 at 4:19 a.m., Halifax District RCMP responded to a call of a break and enter to a convenience store on Cobequid Rd. The glass had been smashed and upon arrival at the scene, police found and arrested a 16-year-old female from Lower Sackville. She was in possession of a hammer.

Police learned there was an additional youth involved and located him a short distance away. The 16-year old male from Lower Sackville was arrested.

Both youth are being charged with Break and Enter. Nothing was stolen from the business. Both were released on conditions and are scheduled to attend court in Dartmouth at a later date.

The investigation is ongoing.
