Suspicious fire in Queens County

News release

Members of Queens District RCMP were called to the scene of a suspicious fire at 749 Old Garden Rd. at 7 a.m. on January 20. When police arrived on scene, they discovered a small cabin fully engulfed in flames. Local volunteer firefighters were also on scene and were able to extinguish the fire. Nothing other than the cabin was damaged, however the cabin was completely destroyed. The building was unoccupied and no one was hurt.

The RCMP has determined the fire to be suspicious in nature. Police are requesting assistance from the public to provide information about the cause.
