On July 21, 2020 at approximately 6 a.m., Strathcona County RCMP responded to a call of a deceased male located outside of a residence in Lakeland Village in Sherwood Park.
Strathcona County RCMP General Investigation Unit and RCMP Major Crimes Unit continue to investigate and the name of the deceased will not be released at this time.
The investigation is in its very preliminary stages and no further information is available. An autopsy is scheduled for this Friday, July 24 and an update will be provided by the RCMP following the autopsy.
