A 50-year-old Main Brook man was arrested for impaired operation of a snowmobile on January 28, 2020.
At approximately 5:00 p.m., St. Anthony RCMP received a report of a possible impaired driver within the community. The caller advised that the snowmobiler crossed the road in front of her vehicle, cutting her off.
Police located the driver at his residence and suspected he was impaired. The man failed a roadside breath test and was arrested for impaired driving. He informed police he would not be providing further breath samples back at the detachment. The man was released from custody and now faces charges of impaired driving and refusing to provide a breath sample.
His driver's licence was suspended and he will attend court at a later date.
