Bay Roberts RCMP seizes a quantity of drugs and cash following the search of a Bay Roberts residence on March 20, 2020.

Three people are anticipated to face charges following a search warrant executed at a Water Street residence in Bay Roberts where officers found a quantity of drugs and cash.

On March 20, 2020, RCMP General Investigation Section obtained a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act to search the residence. Officers from Bay Roberts and Harbour Grace Detachments entered the home and assisted in the search. Three people in the residence were arrested. More than 400 prescription pills, a quantity of crack cocaine, and a quantity of cash were found.

The investigation is continuing. The two residents of the home, a 57-year-old woman and 50-year-old man, and a 30-year-old Spaniard's Bay man, who was inside the home at the time, are expected to be charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
