RCMP seizes one kilogram of cocaine; 2 men arrested and charged.

Yesterday, RCMP Federal Serious and Organized Crime Unit arrested two men, 31-year-old Joel Power of St. John's and 24-year-old Isaac Davis-Power of Conception Bay South, for trafficking in cocaine following a one-kilogram seizure of cocaine.

After receiving information on February 21, 2020, of a suspicious package, the investigation led to the search of a St. John's residence on February 24. The two men were arrested at the residence and appeared in court today to answer to charges of trafficking in cocaine and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. Both men have since been released and are set to attend court on April 16, 2020.

The investigation is continuing.
