Following a tip from the public during the early morning hours on January 19, 2020, Burin Peninsula RCMP responded to a report of a possible impaired driver and arrested a man from Burin a short while later.
The 32-year-old man failed a roadside breath test and was transported to Marystown Detachment where he provided breath samples that were nearly three times the legal limit.
The man's licence was suspended and his vehicle seized and impounded. He has been released from custody and will attend court at a later date to face charges of impaired driving.
