Bay Roberts RCMP arrested a 46-year-old man for driving while impaired near Brigus.
On January 25, 2020, at approximately 11:15 p.m., police were on patrol and observed an erratic driver. Officers conducted a traffic stop with the car and the driver failed a roadside breath test. The man, who is on probation, was arrested and transported to Bay Roberts Detachment where he provided breath samples that were over the legal limit.
Police suspended his driver's licence and seized and impounded the vehicle. The man is set to attend court on March 18, 2020, to face charges of impaired driving and breach of a probation order.
