On October 10 at 8:35 p.m. Guysborough District RCMP responded to a call of an overturned ATV on Amos Gillies Rd. When police arrived on scene they found a woman had been pinned by the ATV which had left the roadway and gone over an embankment. The 62-year-old woman from New Harbour West was deceased. No one else was involved in the collision.
Guysborough District RCMP is investigating the matter, which is ongoing. Our thoughts are with the victim's family at this difficult time.
