A 19-year-old woman from Montreal has been arrested following the seizure of a large quantity of pills near Saint-Jacques, N.B.
On April 27, 2019 around 2:30 a.m., members of the Saint-Léonard RCMP detachment conducted a routine traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 2. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of 75,000 pills, thought to be methamphetamine.
The woman was released and will appear in court at a later date.
The investigation is ongoing.
