On July 4, 2019, Bay St. George RCMP, with assistance from RCMP Police Dog Services, executed a Search Warrant at a residence on Silver Crescent in Stephenville. As a result, police located a quantity of Cocaine, Hydromorphone, Oxycodone and Methylphenidate (Ritalin), as well as stolen property.
A 31-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and will be charged with a number of drug trafficking offences as well as possession of property obtained by crime. She was released from custody and will appear in court in September, 2019.
