On October 28, at 10:40 pm, the West Prince RCMP received a report of an abandoned house on fire on Route 151 in St. Lawrence. The Miminegash Fire Department responded and put the fire out. The house was completely destroyed in the fire and the police investigation revealed that the fire had been set intentionally, an arson.
Then, Halloween night at 1:04 am November 1, the West Prince RCMP received a second report of an abandoned house on fire, this time on Route 14 in Cape Wolfe. The Fire Marshall and the O'Leary Fire Department responded as well. This house was also destroyed and also believed to have been an arson.
