The West District RCMP is releasing a new photo of a missing 68-year-old woman from St. Stephen, N.B.

Over the last several days, members of the St. Stephen RCMP and more than 250 people been involved searching the town and surrounding areas for the woman, who commonly goes by her middle name. Ground search and rescue teams from across New Brunswick, as well as the New Brunswick Emergency Measures Organization, the Department of Natural Resources, the Department of Energy and Resource Development, the Town of St. Stephen and the St. Stephen Fire Department have also been involved in the search.

"The co-ordinated search effort has been brought to a close, but we continue our investigation and continue to ask residents and business owners to check their properties, including any out-buildings, for any sign of her or that she may have been there."

She is known to walk regularly in the town, often collecting bottles along the side of the road. She also has a medical condition that may cause her to be disoriented.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the woman, or who may have seen her since July 7, is asked to call the St. Stephen RCMP at 506-466-7030.
