Taloyoak RCMP investigating stabbing of two dogs

On August 23, 2019 Taloyoak RCMP responded to an apparent stabbing of two dogs in the community. RCMP located the injured dogs outside their residence and were taken into care. Fortunately arrangements were made to have the injured dogs flown to Yellowknife in the care of the SPCA and both dogs are expected to make a full recovery.

RCMP believe that the incident occurred between 1:00 am and 2:00 am on August 23, 2019. At this point Taloyoak RCMP continue to investigate the stabbing and are asking the public to come forward with any information.
