Two injured in shooting incident

The Codiac Regional RCMP is investigating a shooting in Dieppe that sent two people to hospital.

At approximately 2:10 a.m. on October 9, 2019, police responded to a complaint of shots fired in the parking lot of a licenced establishment on Champlain Street. When RCMP arrived they found two men, ages 32 and 25, suffering from gunshot wounds. Both are in hospital being treated for their injuries.

Police do not believe that the shooting was a random act. The individual believed to have fired the shots left the scene before police arrived.
