At 8:20 p.m. on March 16, Kings District RCMP responded to a single motor vehicle collision on English Mountain Road in Canaan.
Upon arrival, officers and members of Kentville Fire Service located an overturned car that had collided with a tree. The lone occupant, a 20-year-old man, was found unresponsive in the vehicle. He was transported to hospital by EHS with life threatening injuries.
The road was closed for several hours as a Collision Reconstruction Analyst was called to attend the scene.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
