On October 18, Yarmouth Town RCMP, with assistance from members of Yarmouth RCMP General Investigation Section and Yarmouth/Clare Street Crime Enforcement Unit, searched a home on Green St. and seized cocaine and crack cocaine.
Two people were arrested inside the home, where in addition to the drugs, police seized cash as well. Leonard Leslie Gabriel, 54, and Stella McAuley, 46, both of Yarmouth, are each charged with one count of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. Both were released from custody and are scheduled to return to Yarmouth Provincial Court on December 2.
The investigation is ongoing.
