Search efforts for missing person to take place in St. Vincent’s; RCMP seeks public’s assistance

RCMP advises that on Saturday, September 21, residents of St. Vincent's and surrounding areas may notice activity including a presence of police and Ground Search and Rescue personnel searching areas in St. Vincent's. This activity is in relation to the ongoing investigation of missing person Raymond Halleran. This search follows other efforts throughout the investigation, including searches by Ferryland Detachment police, the Special Operations Support Team and Police Dog Services, in addition to searches by local residents.

Halleran was last seen at his home on January 12, 2018 in St. Vincent's. He is caucasian, five-feet-nine-inches tall and 175 pounds. He has grey eyes and brown hair that may be dyed purple. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, khaki shoes and a camo jacket and hat. He was carrying a black duffle bag.

RCMP asks that anyone with information on the location of Raymond Halleran or the circumstances of his disappearance to please call Ferryland RCMP at 709-432-2440.
