The Rocky Mountain House RCMP continue to investigate a pedestrian fatality that occurred on May 17, 2019 at approximately 3 a.m.
Public information has been received, and all tips have been followed up on by the RCMP. To date, a suspect vehicle has not been identified.
The RCMP is refreshing this request for public assistance in the hopes that over the last few months someone has remembered an important piece of information that could assist in this investigation.
"Someone knows something about this incident, whether it's because they were involved or because they heard something" says Constable Kerry Jury of the Rocky Mountain House RCMP General Investigation Section. "We're asking you to do the right thing, contact the RCMP, and help us provide closure to the victim's family."

A 39-year-old mother of five was struck and killed by a motor vehicle at approximately 3 a.m. on May 17, 2019. The woman was walking on the main road, approximately 2.2 kilometres west of the school road when the collision occurred.

On May 17, 2019, at approximately 3 a.m., a female was walking on the Sunchild First Nation and was struck by a vehicle. Emergency Medical Services and the Rocky Mountain House RCMP responded to the scene to find the female deceased upon arrival, and the vehicle to have fled.
RCMP continue to investigate this occurrence.
