At approximately 7:30 p.m. on July 14, 2019, Bay St. George RCMP received a report of a suspected impaired driver in Kippens.
Officers located the vehicle a short time later and found the driver, a 43-year-old woman, was impaired by alcohol. She was arrested and taken back to the Detachment where she provided breath samples of more than twice the legal limit.
She was issued a driver's licence suspension and her vehicle was impounded. She is scheduled to attend court on September 16, 2019, to face charges of impaired driving.
Bay St. George RCMP thanks the public for continuing to report suspected impaired drivers.
