On Friday, November 15, beginning at 9:30 a.m., RCMP NL will hold a news conference to announce details of the establishment of a Sweat Lodge on the grounds of Headquarters in St. John's.
Members of the media are invited to attend – an RSVP is appreciated by 4:00 p.m. today.
Please note that a Sweat Lodge is a sacred space – pictures or video of any kind of the lodge are prohibited and would violate Indigenous tradition. A tour of the Sweat Lodge will take place following the news conference.
