The Caraquet RCMP is investigating a break, enter and theft, and seeking information from the public that might help identify the person or people responsible.
On January 7, 2019, police received a report of a break and enter and theft at a residence on chemin Saint-Simon in Caraquet. A safe containing Canadian and U.S. money, 50-cent coins and personal documents was stolen.
The theft would have occurred sometime between December 14, 2018 and January 7, 2019.
