RCMP Investigating multiple cases of mail theft

The Northeast District RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in their investigation of the theft of mail and damage to mailboxes in at least seven communities on the Acadian peninsula.

In the overnight hours between December 11 and December 12, 2019, someone forced open community mailboxes and stole parcels. The incidents took place in Shippagan, Duguayville, Caraquet, Paquetville, Lameque, Sainte-Marie-Saint-Raphaël and Pointe-Canot.
