RCMP investigates theft of ATVs and firearms from residence in Tors Cove

On the evening of November 11, 2019, Ferryland RCMP received a report of a break enter and theft that occurred at a residence on Beachy Cove Road in Tors Cove. The incident happened sometime that evening between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and when the theft was discovered, just before midnight.

Two Honda ATVs, a red 2009 Honda Fourtrax 420 ATV bearing Newfoundland and Labrador licence plate VDX315 and a red 1998 Honda Fourtrax ATV, along with a number of non-restricted firearms, were taken from the property. The firearms consisted of a Winchester semi-automatic shotgun, two Springfield pump action shotguns, a Cooey model single-shot shotgun, and a Lee Enfield 303 rifle.

Officers believe the suspects departed the residence on the stolen ATVs.
