Project Devote investigators conducting enquiries in St.Ambroise in hopes of finding new information on the murder of Crystal Saunders

Project Devote, Manitoba's Task Force for missing and murdered exploited persons, is requesting the public's assistance with the homicide of Crystal Shannon Saunders.

Crystal was last seen in the late evening hours of Wednesday, April 18, 2007, in the West End area of Winnipeg. Her body was discovered the following day near St. Ambroise, Manitoba; a small community approximately 100 km northwest of Winnipeg. Crystal was 24 years of age at the time of her death.

"This week marks 12 years since Crystal was murdered and investigators are asking anyone who may have seen Crystal the evening of her disappearance in Winnipeg, or recalls seeing something concerning or out place near the community of St. Ambroise, to contact Project Devote" said Cpl.Julie Courchaine of the Manitoba RCMP. "If you live in the area of St. Ambroise, please be aware that Winnipeg Police Service and RCMP investigators from Project Devote will be conducting enquiries throughout the week. It is their hope that someone from the community may have critical information that could help further the investigation."
