The Prince District Joint Force Operations (JFO) Unit which is comprised of RCMP, Summerside, and Kensington Police along with Emergency Response Team (ERT) officers executed a search warrant and seized methamphetamine, hydromorphine and firearms at a residence in Summerside in the early hours of Tuesday, August 20th, 2019.
Several roads were shut down temporarily while the warrant was being executed and the agencies thank those affected by the traffic closure for their patience while the situation occurred.
The investigation into this matter is still ongoing and more details will be released later.
