Police seek information regarding fire

The Northeast District RCMP is seeking the public's help with an investigation into a fire that destroyed a grocery store and gas bar in Saint-Léolin, NB.

At approximately 12:30 a.m. on September 6, 2019, police and firefighters responded to a call of a fire at a business. The intensity of the fire forced the evacuation of nearby buildings. No one was injured.

The investigation is continuing into what may have caused the fire.

The Caraquet RCMP is asking anyone with information about this fire or may have seen people or vehicles in the area of the store prior to the start of the fire to contact police at 506-726-2222.
