New-Wes-Valley RCMP searches for man involved in home invasion

On September 17, 2019, just before midnight, New-Wes-Valley RCMP received a call of a home invasion in the community of Centreville. An unknown man wearing all black entered the residence armed with a shot gun, fired two shots, stole some property and departed the residence.

Police attended the scene. The man was further described as having a thin build and was wearing gloves and a helmet with a bandanna and goggles.

Officers patrolled the area but were unable to locate the man. The investigation is continuing.

At this point, the incident does not appear to be random in nature and the RCMP does not believe there is a concern for public safety.
