A 28-year-old man from Bouctouche, N.B., has died following a head-on collision in Bouctouche Cove.
Shortly after 4 p.m. on September 6, 2019, Richibucto RCMP responded to a call of a head-on collision between a eastbound vehicle and a westbound pickup truck on Route 515 in Bouctouche Cove.
The 28-year-old male driver of the car died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The lone occupant of the pickup truck, a 55-year-old man, was taken to hospital with what are believed to be non life threatening injuries.
The collision is believed to have occurred when the vehicle crossed the centre line and collided with the pickup truck. Speed is believe to be a contributing factor.
The investigation is ongoing.
