Two people have been arrested following two separate investigations and drug seizures at an apartment complex in Shippagan, N.B.
On December 11, 2019, members of the Lamèque RCMP detachment executed search warrants at two units in the same apartment building on 17e rue. Police seized quantities of what are believed to be methamphetamine and cannabis marijuana at both locations.
At one unit, a 49-year-old man from Shippagan was arrested.
At the second unit, a 40-year-old female from Shippagan was arrested.
The 49-year-old man and 40-year-old woman were released on a promise to appear in Tracadie Provincial Court on March 6, 2020, at 9:30 a.m.
Both investigation are ongoing.
