Leslie Ann Conrad was last seen by her family on October 5, 2006. Leslie was 45 years old when she disappeared. Her remains were found by a hunter on November 22, 2006 near Melanson Rd. in Kings County, and the investigation determined that she died as a result of foul play.
An extensive investigation ensued, however, no criminal charges have ever been laid. Although unsolved at this time, officers from RCMP Southwest Nova Major Crimes Unit continue to work to solve this crime and remain committed to this investigation. "We know there is information out there somewhere that might help us find out what happened to Leslie," says Cst. Dayle Burris. "Anyone who has information, no matter how they think it might affect the investigation, is encouraged to contact us."
