On December 7, 2019, at approximately 2:30pm, Lac du Bonnet RCMP received a report of a serious two-vehicle collision on Highway 44, approximately one kilometre east of Seddon's Corner.
The initial investigation has determined that a car, with three occupants, was travelling east on Highway 44, when it crossed over the centerline and collided with a pickup truck heading westbound.
The driver of the car, a 24-year-old female from the RM of St. Clements, was transported to hospital with serious injuries. The two passengers – a 24-year-old female from the RM of St. Clements, and a 23-year-old male from Winnipeg – were pronounced deceased on scene.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 55-year-old male, and the 50-year-old female passenger, were treated for minor injuries at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
RCMP continue to investigate.
