Twillingate RCMP and RCMP Air Services continue the search for 70-year-old Andrew (Andy) Canning, missing since May 29, 2019.

On Monday, October 21, police officers from Twillingate Detachment teamed up with RCMP Air Services to continue the search for 70-year-old Andrew (Andy) Canning, who has been missing since leaving his home in Bridgeport on May 29, 2019.

The areas of New World Island and Twillingate Island were searched, along with the highway on Route 340 between the two communities. Mr. Canning remains missing.

Twillingate RCMP encourages members of the public who may have seen Mr. Canning in the hours leading up to his disappearance or who have any information that may assist with locating him to call Twillingate RCMP at 709-884-2811.
