Gypsumville RCMP respond to vehicle-pedestrian collision

On December 12, 2019, at 1:30 am, officers from the Gypsumville RCMP received a report of a vehicle-pedestrian collision that occurred on Highway 6, approximately two kilometres north of Hilbre, MB.

The investigation has determined that a vehicle, being driven by a 54-year-old female from the RM of Grahamdale, was travelling northbound on Highway 6 when it struck a male who was walking on the Highway.

The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and then immediately called 911.

The male, who has yet to be identified, was pronounced deceased on scene. No other injuries were reported.

Alcohol is not a factor in the collision.

Gypsumville RCMP along with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist continue to investigate.
