On August 31, 2019, at approximately 11:30 p.m, Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP responded to an armed robbery at Needs Convenience on Lincoln Road in Grand Falls-Windsor.
A lone masked man approached the employee armed with a knife and demanded money. The suspect was able to secure an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing on foot.
Later that night, RCMP officers arrested 20-year-old Bailey Haggett of Grand Falls-Windsor, in connection with this incident. He is currently in custody and will appear in Provincial Court today to face charges of robbery, assault, assault with a weapon and disguise with intent.
