On Sept. 19, 2019, Cst. Matthew Howson was arrested for a breach of a condition of his previous arrest. It is alleged that Cst. Howson breached the condition to not be within 20 metres of the victim's residence.
He will be appearing for this new charge on Oct. 16, 2019 in Sherwood Park provincial court.
No other information will be released at this time as the matter is now before the courts.
