Drugs seized following search of home

News release

On March 6, 2019, members of the Integrated Special Enforcement Section arrested a 45-year-old man in Halifax and subsequently searched a residence in Williamswood. This resulted in the arrest of a 44-year-old woman and the seizure of cocaine, cannabis and cannabis resin along with trafficking paraphernalia.

Forty-five year-old Barry James Dodge and 44-year-old Sherri Ann Dodge, both of Williamswood are charged with:

  • Possession of Cocaine
  • Possession of Cannabis for the Purpose of Distribution
  • Possessing of Cannabis for the Purpose of Selling

Dodge remains in custody. Sherri Dodge was released on conditions. Both are scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court on May 28, 2019.

Assistance was provided by RCMP Halifax District Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU) and Integrated Guns and Gangs Unit.

Investigation is ongoing.
