32-year-old man from Paradise faces child pornography charges

On October 9, 2019, at approximately 10:30 a.m., 32-year-old Andrew White of Paradise was arrested and charged with on-line child pornography offences.

The investigation, that started in August of 2018, conducted by the RNC/RCMP Integrated Internet Child Exploitation Unit (IICE), lead police to execute a search warrant at a residence in Paradise, in March of 2019. A number of items were seized from the residence and were further processed by police.

White, who was taken to court, has been charged with accessing child pornography and possessing child pornography. He has since been released from custody on conditions. His next scheduled court appearance has been set for December 4, 2019, in St John's Provincial Court.
