A Chamcook woman will appear in court this spring in relation to a case of impaired driving.
On January 4, 2018, shortly before 7:30 p.m., St. George RCMP received a call from the public about a potential impaired driver who had gotten her vehicle stuck in the snow on Boyd Road. When police arrived, the woman appeared to be impaired. Breath samples obtained indicated that her Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) was four times the legal limit.
The woman in her forties from Chamcook was released on a Promise to Appear in Saint John Porvincial Court on April 4, 2018. Her driver's licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
