Vehicle impounded by RCMP on TCH near Pasadena

Around 8:00 a.m. this morning, RCMP Traffic Services West were conducting radar surveillance on the Trans Canada Highway near Pasadena and noted an eastbound vehicle travelling in excess of 51 km/h over the posted 100 km/h speed limit.

The driver was issued a Summary Offence Ticket under Section 110 (3)(e) of the Highway Traffic Act for exceeding the speed limit by 51 km/hr or more. The man is also facing a seven-day driver's licence suspension and his vehicle was towed and impounded for three days.
